A Guild Registrar NPC in the Temple of Balthazar?
So, it's impossible to create a guild without a PvE campaign?
Bah! I created a second account for PvP play only so I bought a PvP Access Kit and some PvP unlock packs... only to find out that I can't create a guild since all the guild registrar NPCs are in towns. Also, if I joined a guild I wouldn't be all that useful as an officer because inviting guests costs 100g per guest. (yes, I have another account so I can move money/items from one account to another but what about the people without PvE campaings?)
I just find it strange that in order to "really experience" the PvP side of Guild Wars you need a PvE campaign, otherwise you're at an disadvantage. Right now I just don't feel like buying another PvE campaign (they aren't all that cheap) and if I don't, creating that second account seems almost like a waste of time and money.

Well atm with the introduction of zaishen keys you can get your faction and sell zaishen keys for guest invites however I dnt see a current solution for making a guild with a pvp account only. Maybe have a friend make it the guild then appoint you leader, im sure that wouldnt be hard.

That's all possible, but it'd be much easier to make a guild registrar in the temple of balthazar.
After all, arn't guilds mostly about PvPing? Guild battles, Alliance battles? etc?

Make a guild with your first account and invite the second one and then make it leader??
And for money you must have one trustworthy friend who will tranfers a few plat across.

You must not consider HIS situation, but the general situation, where if someone new to the game buys only the pvp pack, he won'tbe able to create a guild.
I think it's an important issue.

It's funny to think that they didn't think about it...
The Canthan ambassador is there and those that buy a Guild Hall can get a cape maker, but how will they get a guild hall without having a guild?

That is kind of strange, how there isn't a guild registrar in the great temple. I mean, the game is called GUILD Wars, and to really do that, you need a guild, and GVG is PVP. So I think it would make more sense to have some PVP-only guilds available, even though I don't really do it.

*gasp* an original, plausible, simple to implement idea.

Before the creation of PvP only accounts, this was a non-issue. So I can see how ANET simply didn't think about it when they created them.
I mean would you expect someone to have a purely PvP account unless they had multiple ones to avoid this issue ?
I'm not sure that such people even exist. However copying an existing NPC to a new location shouldn't require much work at all.

Your right. If you need to actually MAKE a new guild I cant recall a registrar anyplace except pve areas. interesting... Yep did a quick wiki check and its only in PvE areas, no way to do it on a guested island or in a pvP explorable area like in Zashian areas or whatever...
Personally we use our hall as our private town and meeting place, not as a battle PvP area. But I can understand the frustration with PvP only accounts not having access to make a Guild, which is one of the most basic functions of a organized PvP group. ATM they have no choice but to get someone with a PvE account to make it for them.
However it is worth noting that how would a PvP only character make a guild/cape/or hall? there is not money in PvP is there? so How would they afford to make one? OK Hall they can earn a Celestial Sigil from the Heroes ascent, or at least they used to be able too...
But lets see,
Guild 100g
Cape 2 Platinum
Celestial Sigil (earned or around 5-10 Platinum)
Xunlai Agent 10 Platinum
Dye Trader 50 Platinum
Crafting Material Trader 100 Platinum
Rare Material Trader 100 Platinum
Rune Trader 25 Platinum
Scroll Trader 50 Platinum
Skill Trainer 100 Platinum
Priest of Balthazar 10 Platinum
Merchant 25 Platinum
Weaponsmith 10 Platinum
Guild Emblemer 10 Platinum
Canthan Ambassador 10 Platinum
Festival Hat Keeper 10 Platinum
Total Cost estimated: 518 Platinum for a fully equipped Guild Hall with cape.
So the question is if they make a PvP NPC for Guilds, How will a PvP only leader afford to buy it or equip it?
I suppose an easy fix would be to have a new registrar NPC to the Islands while visiting them via a Canthan Ambassador. Like the sigil trader is now. Actually this makes the MOST sense... But as I pointed out already. there is still the Money issue for a PvP only account. How would they attain it to afford such a huge expense?
An alternative would be to add the Registrar NPC in the Zashien Elite area to encourage PvP accounts to go through that part of the battle isles to get that option...
True we have no upkeep costs for our halls. Once we got it, its there forever, But it takes a good amount of time for most guilds to build a member base up enough to afford everything. Or a hell a lot of farming PvE to afford it all themselves. I think thats why those resources are in the PvE part of the game atm. Its unrealistic for a PvP only character to be able to afford 518 plat for a fully equipt hall.
So If they make a Balth faction option for those people, will it become the norm or will Faction replace plat for the halls for everyone?
These are important questions and would require some code to achieve a balance so a guild would be able to be made with a PvP only character.
I mean if A player could SKIP the 518Plat cost by faction farming I know for a fact many would do that quickly... and I'm all for that... BUT the PvE people would be upset if all the sudden the normal PvE option for private guild hall towns suddenly disappeared after all the progress that we had made in getting things we wanted in there too. So if there is a PvP only NPC that would be great, please do. But please do not make it a full NPC change game wide to faction only, as that too would be an unjust thing to do to your gamers that have guild halls and have spent a fortune in PvE gold that may have taken months to acquire in some cases to attain a complete hall.

Really, all you need as a PvP guild is the hall, cape, maybe storage, some gold for invites/guests. All the other shit's superfluous, and no PvP-only people would care about rare mats and shit in the slightest.
Anyway...

Were to get the gold?
Easy. Selling PvP-acquired stuff to other players...
How? Add an outposts so everyone can go to trade there, and add weapon/offhand upgrade traders so they can get some extra cash by salvaging and selling mods adquired in the Xunlai Chest to them.

Well, since four character slots (came with the PvP Access Kit) is not enough, I decided to get some more. A local store had a nice discount on the good old Prophecies so I decided to buy it. And what happened? I didn't get any extra character slots... Money well spent? Yeah right...
btw, I noticed today that the PvP Access kit allows you to play AB, even though I've noticed many times people saying that you can't play ABs without Factions...

Doesn't make a difference for me, but I really don't see why they didn't already do this.
Next they need to find where the Henchmen in Great Temple of Balthazar went. They went missing more than a year ago.
